Bringing the Warmth of Ginger & Ginseng to the UK

Aligned Wellness Academy • February 18, 2026

We are proud to introduce our exclusive ginger and ginseng warming products from China — carefully selected, thoughtfully sourced, and aligned with the principles of YSD Medicine.

These are not ordinary products. We chose them with great care, ensuring they are pure, safe, and effective — especially suited to help people cope with the cold and damp climate of the UK. In a country where cold easily penetrates the body and drains vitality, warmth is not a luxury. It is protection.

The company we work with is run by a group of dedicated Buddhists who deeply care about the environment and the wellbeing of those who use their products. Manufacturing follows the guidance of YSD Medicine principles, focusing on energy, circulation, and internal strength.

After searching extensively, these are the most effective warming and energising products we could find in China today. That is why we are bringing them here.

They are designed to:

  • Relieve pain
  • Restore energy
  • Reclaim health

These energy-based formulations support circulation, increase vitality, and enhance the body’s natural healing process. They are especially beneficial for children and elderly individuals, who are more vulnerable to cold and weakness.

Our students and clients can benefit tremendously from consistent, intelligent warmth — internally and externally. When warmth returns, strength returns. When strength returns, life quality improves.

This is more than a product line.

It is a commitment to protection, vitality, and long-term health.

Please find attached a comprehensive product list with prices for your review.

Warmth is medicine. And we are ready to share it. 🔥

2026 — The Fire Horse Year A Year to Move, Refine, and Rise 2026 carries the spirit of the Fire Horse — dynamic, bold, impossible to ignore. Fire brings warmth and ignition. The Horse brings movement and momentum. Together, they whisper one clear instruction: do not stagnate. This year, our resolution is simple yet powerful — to elevate our clinical work, and to elevate our academy and community with it. At AWA London, growth follows a living rhythm: learning while practising, practising while learning. Progress is not intellectual. It is embodied. It shows up in skill, clarity, and results. The Three Pillars Behind Our Direction Clinical / Classical Chinese Medicine (中医) In the West, Chinese medicine is often understood mainly through the lens of the Huangdi Neijing — a clinical system regulating Qi, Blood, Yin, and Yang. It excels in chronic disease and complex internal imbalance, offering stabilization and systemic harmony. Yet this is only one school within a much broader tradition. While powerful for internal regulation, it can be slower when facing structural injury, trauma, or deep stagnation. Daoist Medicine (道医) Emerging from the philosophy of the Dao De Jing, Dao Medicine is the deeper root from which Chinese medicine developed. It views life through three inseparable dimensions: body, life force, and spirit. Jing transforms into Qi. Qi refines into Shen. Health depends on the smooth transformation between these layers. Alignment comes before intervention — breath, emotional balance, seasonal rhythm, and daily habits are the first medicine. Rather than fighting disease, Dao Medicine restores harmony with natural law. It builds vitality and longevity at the root — but it requires patience and steady cultivation. Martial Arts Medicine (武医) Born in training halls and battlefields, martial medicine asks one uncompromising question: Can the body still move? It works directly on fascia, tendons, bones, and blood stasis. It restores function quickly. It clears blockage. It brings circulation back online. Where clinical medicine regulates and Dao medicine cultivates, martial medicine activates. A Unified System These systems are not separate. They are layers. Martial medicine corrects structure. Clinical medicine regulates Qi. Daoist medicine refines spirit. Structure shapes energy. Energy shapes mind. Mind shapes destiny. This layered understanding forms the foundation of how we practise and teach YSD Medicine in London. The Wave Rising in China YSD Medicine, created by Taiwanese Dr. Chang Chao Han, has transformed millions across the Chinese-speaking world. Right now, warmth is the movement in China — ginger, ginseng, Wen Fu. A collective shift toward restoring Yang, dissolving internal cold, and empowering individuals with practical tools for daily use. For the first time, health feels accessible — simple, effective, self-applied. And we feel called to bring that wave to the UK. Introducing Wen Da Fu — Martial Wisdom in Action Wen Da Fu is one of the martial medicine systems we are introducing to the UK. Rooted in Southern Shaolin trauma lineage, it is a warm herbal compress using transdermal medicinal wine extraction. It dispels deep cold. Moves blood stasis. Relaxes fascia. Restores structural flow. Working through the skin rather than burdening digestion, it warms Yang, dissolves tissue damage, and reactivates circulation from the surface inward. This is not a trend. It is lineage meeting modern need. Why This Matters in 2026 At the root of many illnesses lie two forces: internal blockage (Ti Shang) and lack of life force — what we recognise as cold (lack of movement). As we enter the Fire Horse year, our focus sharpens: How do we increase life force quickly? How do we resolve deeper, affected-area blockages effectively? This is not abstract theory. It is life-saving work. Our YSD Medicine Level 2 training this April will concentrate on this advanced stage — moving beyond foundation into the true challenge of affected-area Ti Shang. This is where skill matures. This is where responsibility deepens. Watch this space. You can be part of this quietly revolutionary movement. Our Commitment We are working closely to bring exclusive, high-quality products from China to this part of the world — practical tools that make YSD philosophy a lived reality. Because philosophy alone is not enough. People need tools. People need warmth. People need momentum. 2026 is not a year to stand still. It is a year to refine skill, share resources, and rise together. Mountain after mountain. Sky beyond sky. Welcome to the Fire Horse year.

When winter arrives, how many of these are quietly draining you? Cold hands and feet that never seem to warm up Waking up multiple times at night, with real rest feeling out of reach More hair in your hands, less on your head Forgetting words mid-sentence, memory on low signal Barely doing anything, yet feeling completely drained Achy knees, a weak lower back, constant low-power mode This isn’t just “because it’s cold.” It’s your body sending gentle warnings: your inner warmth is running low , and your deep reserves are being used up. In Chinese medicine , yang energy and kidney essence are like your life savings. They support immunity, vitality, hair, bones, focus, and long-term strength. Late nights, stress, overwork—they’re daily withdrawals, often unnoticed. And winter asks even more from the body. When reserves are low, these signals show up one after another. Why winter is the perfect time to rebuild Winter is when the body naturally shifts into storage mode. What you nourish now is absorbed more deeply, held more securely, and becomes the foundation for spring’s energy and glow. Real nourishment isn’t about “taking more.” Heavy tonics or harsh supplements can feel like spending money you don’t have: they may look nourishing but often create more weakness. A depleted body can’t handle forceful 補. True nourishment is gentle, consistent, and focuses on strengthening the root. Simple ways to build real reserves 1. Sunlight for yang ☀️ Spend time in the sun between 11am–1pm, when natural warmth is strongest. Even a few minutes daily helps boost your inner heat. 2. Deep, gentle warmth Resting on AWA’s EMF-free five-element energy mat, using a heat patch during your busy day, or enjoying an infrared heat lamp before sleep allows warmth to penetrate deeply, improve circulation, and naturally support your yang energy. 3. Gentle, nourishing herbs: Ginger + Ginseng These herbs gently clear cold and damp while nourishing kidney essence. Not stimulating, not harsh—more like steady saving than sudden spending . The best is to use AWA Taiwanese ginger powder in hot water daily, or add a small amount to soups or porridge. Continue through winter into early spring. Over time, you’ll notice your hands and feet warm naturally, energy lasts longer, and your body feels grounded—like it’s truly recharged. Invest in your foundation this winter Health isn’t about quick splurges. It’s about steady saving. This winter, consider supporting your inner warmth with AWA Wenfu products —crafted to gently nourish kidney essence, warm yang energy, and help your body store true vitality. By spring, it shows—in your energy, your presence, and that quiet radiance that needs no explanation. ✨🌱
